Dear editor,

As I rode by the square in LaGrange today (letter dated Saturday), I saw that some serf-minded turncoat had put signs on government property claiming that LaGrange is a kingdom. How could any American insult all of the veterans who have sacrificed to keep this nation free?

This is a constitutional democracy, not a kingdom! If the traitor really wants a kingdom, I hear there are several in the Middle East that are in dire need of subjects to supplement the thrall.
