LaGRANGE — Investigators with the LaGrange Police Department need the community’s help identifying a suspect in a sexual assault case.

According to police, the man raped and molested a 13-year-old girl at a home in the 1400 block of Juniper Street on Jan. 9.

Detectives met with the teen Monday at the West Georgia Medical Center’s emergency department.

The girl described the male as African American with a slender build, about 6 feet tall.
