Wreck on I-85 in LaGrange injures at least one person, blocks both lanes

A state trooper stands next to a car damaged in a collision on Interstate 85 a few miles south of Whitesville Road on Friday. The wreck was reported at 6:01 p.m. and one person was transported from the scene to West Georgia Medical Center with injuries. Georgia State Patrol was investigating and no further details were available Friday night.
Traffic sits still on the southbound lane of Interstate 85 on Friday evening due to a wreck that had both lanes temporarily blocked.
