LaGRANGE — The Rod Benders Bass Club hosts its 11th annual Homecoming Tournament at Pyne Road Park Mega Ramp on Saturday, April 16.

The tournament blast-off begins at safe light and ends at 3 p.m. with activities for spectators including a kid fun zone beginning at 1 p.m. featuring “Hoop Shoot” and prize drawings for local resident spectators who are in attendance to watch the weigh-in at 3 p.m.

The anglers will be competing for a $6,000 first place prize, which is guaranteed with a minimum field of 100 boats, and with a 1 in 5 boats payback. The Rod Benders also will donate a portion of the proceeds from the tournament to charities that benefit youth fishing and The Wounded Warrior Project.

Red Roof Inn at 1601 Lafayette Parkway is the official host hotel for The Rod Benders and will be a pre-registration point 4–9 p.m. Friday, April 15, in the hotel lobby.

Anglers can also pre-register at $250 per boat and register online at www.rodbendersbassclub.org. On site registration opens 4 a.m. on tournament day at Pyne Road Park Mega Ramp.
