Investigators with the LaGrange Police Department are looking into a physical altercation involving several women that left one woman with alleged knife wounds to her hand and eye.

Police met the victim at WellStar West Georgia Medical Center about 12:15 a.m. today as she was being treated for her injuries.

She told officers the incident happened late Monday night at her sister’s apartment in the 400 block of Niles Street.

The woman told police she drove over to the apartment after receiving a call from her sister stating there were three females with blades at her door threatening to “jump her.”

The victim fought off the three women at least three separate times in an attempt to get away, she told officers. She said all three suspects had knives on them.

Investigators continue to search for suspects.
