Willie Frances “Ms. Bill” Brewer passed away Monday at WellStar West Georgia Medical Center.

 

She was born December 15, 1948 in Troup County, Georgia; to the late, George Dewey Brewer and Virginia Drake Brewer.

 

She graduated from Ethel W. Kight High School in 1969; and was a member of New Beginning Baptist Church.

 

Survivors include four children, Mary Copeland, Tomekia Brew, Patrick (Ambriah) Brewer and LaQuada (Charles) Russell; thee sisters, Ruby Peterson, Barbara White, Annie (George) Kelley; four brothers, Charles Brewer, Gary Brewer, Leon Brewer, and Nathaniel Brewer; one brother-in-law, James Gholston; eight grandchildren; and a host of relatives and special friends.

 

The Celebration of Life Service will be Monday at 1:00 PM at New Beginning Baptist Church. Dr. William E. Harris and Dr. Harvey Jones will officiate. Burial will follow at Southview Cemetery.
