Letter: May Trump find grace

In my lifetime I have never observed a president so caught up in his own wonderful story! He’s overly fond of the use of the first person pronoun “I.” Even as he spoke at the Inaugural ball for the men and women of the armed services, he failed to thank  them for risking their lives for this country. (I might remind our president that this is something he has not done). President Trump enjoys the fame and the glory of the office but I see little of the grace and generosity of those who have gone before him. Is his ego so weak that he cannot stand any criticism? Would that he would listen and gain from it!  There is a kind of vindictiveness towards those who  have offered advice about a better alternative to his rash actions. It is my hope that this man may grow in grace and learn to say those wonderful words, “thank you.” God bless you, Mr. President, and may the grace of our Lord Jesus be with you and in you.
