Reverend Benjamin Roscoe Bennett, 96, of West Point, GA peacefully went to be with the Lord, at his home on Tuesday, February 14, 2017.

Rev. Bennett was born October 19, 1920 in Hazelhurst, GA, to the late William Leonard Bennett and Minnie Meeks Bennett. He was a faithful member of Midway Baptist Church. Mr. Bennett proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jacquelyn Argress Henry Bennett.

Survivors include his daughter, Charoyn Bennett (Paul) Oliveira; son, David Benjamin (Tammie) Bennett; four grandchildren; one great grandchild; two brothers, Lester Bennett and Holland Bennett.

The Gathering of Family and Friends will be Thursday, February 16, 2017 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Midway Baptist Church. The Funeral services will be 3:00pmFriday, February 17, 2017 at Midway Baptist Church with Pastor Charles Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in Midway Baptist Church Cemetery.
