Mrs. Ethel E. Mitchell,  94, of West Point passed away Thursday evening at Opal’s Personal Care Home after an extended illness.  Mrs. Mitchell was born December 30, 1922 in Randolph County Alabama and was a member of Gray Hill Church of God and retired from Kleentex plant # 2 as a seamstress.

She was preceded in death by her Mother & Father: William Ben & Doshie Price Embrey, her Brothers & Sisters:  Hugh”Dick”Embrey,  Leola Banks, Lucy Mitchell, Maudie Embrey, Sarah Waldroup, Willis Mae Hamil, Mae Webster and William Embrey. Also, she was preceded in death by Husband’s William “Pinky” Parmer and Toll Mitchell,  her children Harold Parmer, Ralph Parmer, Aaron Parmer and Russell “Bo” Parmer.

Mrs. Mitchell is survived by her children:  Ray Parmer of Randolph County, Alabama,  Ann & William Folds of Mountville,  and Nancy Carol Morgan of LaGrange. 8 Grandchildren,  several  great-grandchildren  great great grandchildren, nieces & nephews and special friend, Sue Farmer

A visitation will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday from the Hunter-Allen-Myhand Funeral Home with the service beginning at 3:00 P.M. with Reverend David Cross officiating. Interment will follow in the Lebanon Cemetery on the Bartley Road.
