Liza Levenia Adcock Burdette, age 99, passed away at the LaGrange Health and Rehabilitation Center on April 4, 2017. Mrs. Burdette was born to the late Deeston Adcock and Tweedie Bell “May” Adcock on July 13, 1917. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ruby Daniel “Dude” Burdette.

​Survivors include her sons, Rufus Gentry Burdette and his wife, Linda, Burell Eston Burdette and his wife, June; daughter, Daphney Knight and her husband, Denny; grandchildren Sandra, Mike, Danny, Pam, Dee, Dale, LeVenia, Elizabeth; 15 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.higginsfuneralhomes.com

​Visitation will be held Friday, April 7, 2017 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the Higgins LaGrange Chapel.  Funeral service will be held Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Rosemont Baptist Church with Pastor Adam Camp and Pastor S.T.
