Mrs. Mary Edna Rowe Crawford, age 81, of LaGrange, passed away on April 11, 2017 at the WellStar West Georgia Hospice.  Mrs. Crawford was born on September 24, 1935 in LaGrange to the late William Carl Rowe and Vivian Prince Rowe.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Roger Crawford and a sister, Margaret Faye Rowe.  Mrs. Crawford worked for many years at Platex, followed by many years and retirement from the Troup County School System.  She was a life long member of the Church of Christ.  Survivors include her daughters, Daphne Crawford and Debbie Anderson and her husband Richard Glenn Anderson, all of LaGrange; sister, Dorothy Rowe Bowen of LaGrange; grandchild, Kaitlyn Anderson of LaGrange; nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews and a host of cousins;  special friends, Derita Cox and Lynn Rooks.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 1:00 pm at the Higgins LaGrange Chapel.  Interment will follow at Shadowlawn Cemetery.  Family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
