Mrs. Ann Lunsford Monteith, of the Harrisonville Community of Troup County, passed away Thursday, Apr. 13, 2017, at her home.

Born Nov. 6, 1936, Mrs. Monteith was the daughter of the late P.L. and Lucile (Lucy) Morgan Lunsford. She was a lifelong resident of Troup County and retired as manager of the Hogansville branch of Newnan Savings Bank. She was a former member of the Hogansville Pilot Club and was the first female member of the Hogansville Kiwanis Club, but caring for her family and being involved in her church were the most important parts of her life.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Ray Monteith; sons and daughters in-law, Tim and Denise Monteith, Scott and Pam Monteith, all of Harrisonville; daughter and son in-law, Patti and Allen Hunt of LaGrange;  grandchildren, Patricia (Jim) Kelly, Timmy (Julie) Monteith, Holly Monteith, Adam (Amber) Monteith, Jacob (Malorie) Monteith, Zachary Monteith, Whitney (Jacob) Humphries, Duncan (Tyler) Moffitt;  and 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, at Baptist Tabernacle Church. Rev. Jimmy McMillian and Rev. Frank Sledge will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville.

The family will receive friends at Baptist Tabernacle Church from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Saturday.
