Brenda Virginia Heard passed away Monday at her home in Hogansville, Georgia.

She was born September 9, 1962 in Chambers County, Alabama to Mr. Willis Junior Heard and Mrs. Willie May Heard.

She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church, Five Points, Alabama; and later united with Mt. Zion Baptist Church in LaGrange, Georgia.

Survivors include her parents, Willis J. Heard and Willie M. Heard; sisters, Jackie (Carl Colton) Heard, Hogansville, GA; Laquita Heard, LaGrange, GA; Kathy (David) Pledger, Columbus, GA; brothers, Willis (Melanie) Heard, Eufaula, AL; George Wayne, Meadows, AL; her companion, Thomas Harris; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

The Celebration of Life Service will be Monday at 2:00 PM EST at Macedonia Baptist Church, Five Points. Dr. W.  T. Edmondson will officiate. Burial will follow at Skyview Cemetery.
