Mrs. Mary Magdalene Harvell Cole, of LaGrange, passed away on April 22, 2017 at the Florence Hand Home.  Mrs. Cole was born on July 21, 1926 in Cleburne, Alabama to the late Joe Harvell and Mae Wright Harvell.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Richard Lee Boggs.  Survivors include her husband, Melvin Douglas Cole of LaGrange;  sons, Robert Edward Boggs of Roanoke, Alabama and John David Boggs of LaGrange; brothers, Howard Harvell of California and Charles William Harvell (Rose) of LaGrange; sister, Nelda Hemm of Illinois; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at 2:00 pm at the Higgins LaGrange Chapel.  Interment will follow at Shadowlawn Cemetery.  Family will received friends on Wednesday from 12:00 pm until service hour at the funeral home.  On line condolences may be sent to the family at http://www.higginsfuneralhomes.com./  Higgins LaGrange Chapel Funeral Home, 706-884-7117.
