Elizabeth McGhee passed away Tuesday at WellStar West Georgia Medical Center.

She was born February 10, 1924 to the late, Willie and Beatrice Hall.

She accepted Christ at an early age and joined the Branch Hebron Baptist Church, and upon relocating to New York, she untied with the First Baptist Church of Bay Shore, Long Island, New York and served faithfully as a Deaconess.

Survivors include her husband, Oscar McGhee; her loving and devoted children, Christine (Elbert) Lewis, Hampton, GA; Ernestine (Robert) Shelton, LaGrange, GA; Willie McGhee, Long Island, NY; sister, Tommie L. Strozier, Greenville, GA; special daughter, Pastor Joannie Baskerville, LaGrange, GA; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The Celebration of Life Service will be Tuesday at 12:00 noon at Rising Grove Baptist Church. Pastor Joannie Bskerville will officiate. Burial will follow at Restlawn Memory Gardens.
