Jimmie Ray Sanders, age 68, of Five Points, Alabama passed away on May 1, 2017 at his residence. Mr. Sanders was born on April 3, 1949 to the late Marvin William Sanders and Myrl Irene Benefield Sanders in Bowden, GA. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and worked for Buddy Moore Trucking.

Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Amason Sanders of Five Points, Alabama; brother, Milford Lee Sanders (Donna) of Cusseta; sisters, Irene Cook (Don) of LaGrange, Faye Hill of West Point.

Family will receive friends for visitation at Grace Baptist Church on Thursday, May 4, 2017 from 1:00-2:00 pm. Funeral service will follow starting at 2:00 pm with Rev. Donnie Benefield officiating. Interment services will be held at Sardis Baptist Church located in Bowden starting at 4:30 pm.
