Harvey Strozier, Sr. passed away Saturday.

He was born March 20, 1931, in Meriwether County, Georgia to the late, Annie Strozier and Robert Gillispey.

He was a member of Branch Hebron Baptist Church. He worked for Bankhead Welding Company for over 35 years.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Lou Strozier; eight children: Betty (Charlie) Cameron, Morrow, GA; Minnie (Hosea) McDaniel, LaGrange, GA; Harvey (Jewell) Strozier, Jr., Douglasville, GA; James (Opal) Strozier, Newnan, GA; Clifford (Beatrice) Strozier, Rockledge, FL; Voncilla (Gary)Morris, Greenville, GA; Marcila (Ulysses) Bush, Jr., Greenville, GA; Rosland (Joseph) Harvey, Hapeville, GA; daughter-in-law, Berniece Strozier, Greenville, GA; two sisters, Cleo Mapp and Daisy Strozier, Atlanta, GA; 21 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild.

The Service will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Branch Hebron Baptist Church. Dr. Harvey Jones will officiate.

The family will be at their home at 777 Emerson Drive.
