Two vehicles broken into in same area, same time as fight

A fight between four women allegedly occurred Monday morning at the 400 block of East Bacon Street. Two of the women involved in the fight received criminal trespass warnings, according to the LaGrange Police Department police report. There was no mention in the report what the fight was about.
At the same time as the fight, two car break-ins allegedly occurred near the same location. A woman said $70 was stolen from her car, which was parked at the 400 block of East Bacon Street between midnight and 1 a.m., the same time the fight occurred. A man said his vehicle was also broken into and $250 and a Taser were stolen. The battery of his Chevrolet Silverado was also dead when he returned to the vehicle.
Neither of the vehicle owners were involved in the altercation.
Man’s car hit by rocks
A man’s car was damaged Monday after allegedly getting hit by rocks thrown by juveniles at Revis Street. The man told police he was travelling toward Daniel Street when he saw two or three juvenile males standing on the side of the road. He said they threw rocks at his vehicle and then ran off toward the playground area of Lucy Morgan Homes. According to the police report, there are two dents on the driver’s side door and two dents on the driver’s side rear door.
Man arrested for public drunkenness and loitering
Thomas Antley, 41, was arrested for public drunkenness loitering at the Piggly Wiggly on Roanoke Road Tuesday around 12:45 a.m. According to the LPD police report, an officer found him standing near a pallet of cardboard wearing only boxers. Officers tried asking him basic questions, but Antley only gave them his name and date of birth and told them he had been drinking and couldn’t find his clothes, glasses or phone, the report said. Police found his missing items 50 feet away from him along with a 24 ounce can of malt liquor. After asking Antley to take a preliminary breath test, he consented and the result came back with .213 blood alcohol content. Antley was then taken to a hospital and was arrested.
