Man reports gun missing from car; lawnmower stolen from porch

A man’s .38 Special allegedly went missing from his black Ford Taurus. The man told police he rides with the gun in his car when he goes to work in West Point. The man said when he got off work Wednesday he looked in the driver’s side door of the vehicle and saw it was missing. He said the last time he remembered seeing it was Monday when he took it from his home and put it in the vehicle.
Lawnmower stolen from porch
A Weedeater lawnmower was allegedly stolen from a man’s front porch at the 600 block of Fourth Avenue Thursday morning. The man told police that he left his house for a few minutes and when he came back, the push mower was missing. The mover was valued at $200.
