Mrs. Manita Ham Graves, age 103, of LaGrange, passed away on Sept. 20, 2017, at the WellStar West Georgia Hospice.

Mrs. Graves was born on Oct. 7, 1913, in Brantley County, Georgia to the late Elias Knight Ham and Mary Wainwright Ham.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Omer Estes Graves.  Other than caring for the needs of her family, Mrs. Graves will be remembered for her love of music and teaching piano to children for over thirty years.  Survivors include her son, Raphael Knight Graves and daughter in law, Connie Graves; grandchildren, Raphael Graves, Jr., Elizabeth Manita Graves and Mark C. Graves; great grandchildren, Marius Furter, Sylvia Furter, Fiona Graves and Anna Graves; extended family.  Graveside services will be held on Friday, Sept. 22, 2017, at 3 p.m. at the Shadowlawn Cemetery with the Rev. Paul Blair officiating. Family and friends will assemble at the graveside.
