Woman arrested after alleged stabbing

Ashley Burgess, 23, was arrested after stabbing another woman at the 100 block of Peachtree Court Saturday night.
According to a LaGrange Police Department press release, Burgess and the other woman originally had a verbal altercation that turned into a physical one.
Burgess then allegedly stabbed the other woman with a sharp object to the bicep and under her right eye, according to the press release. Burgess has been charged with aggravated assault.
Apartment burglarized
An apartment was allegedly burglarized and multiple televisions were taken from it at the 100 block of Northwoods Drive Friday between 6:45 a.m. and 4 p.m.
According to the LaGrange Police Department report, when the resident returned to her residence she noticed her 43-inch television missing and that it looked like someone went through everything in her living room and kitchen.
The woman told police when she went upstairs she discovered her daughter’s television screen and her bedroom television screen were also missing and that her dresser drawers were opened.
The woman told police she had locked her apartment door and that her back doors were kicked in when she came home.
Gun stolen from vehicle
A Ruger .380 was allegedly stolen from a vehicle at the 900 block of Park Place between Friday at 6:45 p.m. and Saturday at 7:30 a.m. According to the police report, the owner noticed someone had been in her vehicle when she went to it in the morning and discovered her mother’s gun was stolen out of the glove box.
The owner told police that her doors might have been unlocked.
Vehicle entered in same neighborhood
Two vehicles were broken into at the Valley Ridge Apartments Saturday between 5:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m.
According to the police report, the first car owner noticed that the passenger door of her vehicle was cracked and that her wallet was missing.
The owner told police the passenger side window was down and her vehicle was left unlocked. While on the scene, an officer noticed a truck with its door also cracked open.
According to the police report, the officer found the truck owner and had him search the vehicle.
The truck owner told police a laptop, a bookbag, eight bottles of vape liquid and $10 were missing from his vehicle.
