Jane Gwendolyn Wishart Gallo, age 88, of LaGrange, passed away on Nov. 7, 2017.

Mrs. Gallo was born on March 5, 1929, in Elmhurst, New York to Andrew Wishart and Anna Vohringer Wishart. Mrs. Gallo had various jobs, but her most important role was mother of her four children. She worked for AMF, Inc. for the main part of her career, where she began as a secretary and worked her way up to Communications Dept. manager. She later worked as a realtor. Upon retirement, she and her husband, Adam Gallo, moved to LaGrange and then to Florida where they spent many happy years with Adam’s family.

They moved back to LaGrange for their twilight years to spend time with daughter, Jayne Pauley, and her family. Mrs. Gallo was devoted to her children and most happy when cooking for others. She was an energetic woman with many friends who enjoyed her “spunk.” She will be missed by family and friends.

Her husband, Adam, preceded her in death. Survivors include her son, Andrew Gallo (Margi) of Austin, Texas; daughters, Janine Peppe (Tony-deceased) of Zephyrhills, Florida, Gina Disney-Jahrsdoerfer (Jay-deceased) of Manorville, New York and Jayne Pauley (Doug) of LaGrange; grandchildren, Anthony Peppe (Cherie), Anne-Marie Cooper (Rob), Gillian Disney, Richard Disney (Emily), Grant Gallo, Gabi Gallo, Matt Pauley, Kim Pauley, Ryan Pauley and Will Pauley; 12 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; sister, Audrey Baribault of Long Island, New York; former son-in-law, Rick Disney; special nephew, Don Baribault, and other nieces and nephews. Mrs. Gallo belonged to Advent Lutheran Church with her dear friends, Mary and Ron Pauley.

Family will receive friends beginning at 10  a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017 at Loyd Presbyterian Church. Funeral services at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Min Chan Park and Dr. Rix Threadgill officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
