Good luck to Taylor and Taylor

Over the last few days, we’ve written about two retirements of longtime members of the LaGrange Fire Department, each who have served this community for decades.
Lt. Chris Taylor, the public information officer, and Deputy Chief Robert Taylor, each announced their retirement this month. Chris Taylor has worked for the LFD for 25 years, while Robert Taylor is finishing up year 30.
Over their five decades, they’ve touched countless lives and have greatly benefitted this community. We’re confident the LFD will be fine, but the experience Chris and Robert have is hard to replace.
We thank both Chris and Robert for their dedication to the LFD and LaGrange as a whole and wish them well in their next venture, whether it truly be retirement or just a career change.
