Vehicles broken into at Granger Park Saturday

Two vehicles were broken into at the parking lot at Granger Park Saturday around 5 p.m.
According to the police report, one of the owners put a stroller in their car at 5 p.m. and when they returned around 5:44 p.m., discovered the window was busted out.
The owner told police a Gimbal DJI Omoso camera stick valued at $250 was taken. According to a LaGrange Police’s Facebook post, a second vehicle was also broken into.
Gun allegedly stolen from vehicle
A Highpoint 9mm handgun was allegedly stolen from a vehicle Tuesday. The owner told police he left his gun on the seat of his vehicle while he warmed up his car that morning, and that he discovered it was missing around 3:30 p.m.
TV stolen from vehicle
A TV valued at $200 was stolen from the back of a vehicle at the Woodland Trail apartments Tuesday around 5:15 a.m.
According to a LPD press release, three men approached the owner of the vehicle and one grabbed her while another took the television from the vehicle.
The owner told police the men fled on foot.
Counterfeit bill discovered
A $100 counterfeit bill was discovered at a Summit gas station on Vernon Street Tuesday.
According to the police report, a man gave an employee the bill and asked for change.
When the employee realized it was fake, the man was already driving away from the station.
The bill had no water markings and had German writing on it, according to the police report.
