One person was killed and another was seriously injured after a head on vehicle collision occurred at Stovall Road Friday around 8 a.m. According to Georgia State Patrol, one vehicle was traveling on the west when the second entered the lane, and the two vehicles collided.

Both drivers were from Manchester.

The injured driver had a severe injury to a lower extremity and possible head injuries and was airlifted to a hospital in Atlanta, according to GSP.

The crash is still under investigation as of Friday afternoon.
