Mrs. Ruth Darden Smith Shelton, age 92, of LaGrange, passed away on Jan. 11, 2018, at the WellStar West Georgia Hospice.

Funeral services for Mrs. Shelton will be held on Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018, at 2 p.m. at the Teaver Road Baptist Church.  Family will receive friends on Saturday at the church from 1 p.m. until service hour.  Interment will follow at Hillview Annex.

Mrs. Shelton was born on March 18, 1925, in LaGrange to the late James A. Smith and Nannie Elizabeth Hanson Smith.  She was the oldest Charter Member of Teaver Road Baptist and retired from Duracell.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Shelton; son and daughter in law, Robert Hanson ‘Bobby” Moore and Patricia Moore; son in law, Larry P. Webb.
