The Troup wrestling team will look to defend its title when it gets together with Callaway and LaGrange on Tuesday for the county championship.

Callaway will be the host school this year, and the action will get under way at 5:30 p.m.

Also today, Long Cane, Gardner Newman and Callaway will determine the county middle-school championship.

Troup rolled to the county title a year ago and didn’t give up a point in its final match against LaGrange.

First up today will be a match between Callaway and LaGrange, and LaGrange and Troup will then wrestle before the competition ends with a showdown between LaGrange and Troup.
