Mrs. Mozelle Crowley Poole, age 91, died Thursday, Jan. 18, 2018, at WellStar West Georgia Medical Center.

Mrs. Poole, a native of LaGrange, Georgia, was the daughter of the late George and Estella Hall Askew. She held employment with the West Georgia Medical Center. She was blessed to have lived, worked and worshiped for 91 years.  Mrs. Poole was a dedicated and faithful servant of God. She served in various capacities in the lives of the people she met.

She was preceded in death by her husband Willie Crowley and later, Bonner Poole, six brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include two sons and four daughters, Benjamin Crowley, Gloria Simpson, Gwen Strozier, the Rev. Leroy Crowley, Linda (Clanton) Spratling and Jacqueline Mullins; two brothers, Govenor (Pearl) Askew and Tim Askew; 15 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mozelle Poole will be held on Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018, at 1 p.m. at New Macedonia Baptist Church at 111 Johnson Street. The Rev. Jerome Shipman will officiate with burial at the Family Plot at Southview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the home of her daughter, Gwen Strozier at 123 Guinn Street.
