Sanford Darrell Robinson passed away Sunday.

He was born Jan. 14, 1954, in LaGrange, Georgia, to the late, John Willie and Myrtis Robinson.

He graduated from LaGrange High School, served in the U.S. Army and was employed as a fireman by the City of LaGrange and Troup County.

On Sunday, Jan.21, 2018, Sanford passed away at Grady Memorial Hospital. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sibling, Cynthia Marie Robinson.

He is survived by his son, Andrecuss Martell Robinson, LaGrange, Georgia; one grandchild, Kerston Andreas Robinson; three sisters, Juanita (Roy) Brunson, Jamaica Queens, New York; Dorothy Marie Bailey, Los Angeles, California; and Carolyn Godwin, LaGrange, Georgia; one brother, John (Nancy) Robinson, LaGrange, Georgia; four nieces, five nephews and a host of great nieces and nephews.

The service will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Confidence Baptist Church.
