Mr. Ralph David Gossett

Mr. Ralph David Gossett, 80, of LaGrange, Georgia went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, March 9, 2018, from West Georgia Hospice.

Mr. Gossett was born July 4, 1937, in Cedartown, Georgia to the late Claude Gossett and Willie Pearl Allen Gossett. He proudly served his country during the Korean War in the United States Army.

Ralph was a faithful member of Independent Church of Worship and retired from LaGrange Moulding. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his two sisters, Ruth Gossett and Lois Gossett.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Billie Burnette Gossett; sons, David (Eliana) Gossett and Burnette (Christy) Gossett; grandchildren, Bryanna Gregory, Paetyn Gregory, Matthew Gossett, Victoria Gossett, Angel Gossett, Kyle Gossett, Zach Gossett and Wesley Gossett; four great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The Gathering of family and friends will be 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday, March 12, 2018, at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary. The celebration of life service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 13, 2018, in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with Pastor Jerry Scarborough officiating. Burial will be at 3:30 pm. in Cedartown Cemetery, Polk County, Georgia.
