Mr. Ernest Luther Daniel

Ernest Luther Daniel passed away Friday.

He was born March 27, 1946, to the late Ernest Daniel and Francis Daniel in Troup County, Georgia.

He was a faithful member of New Macedonia Baptist Church and served in many capacities.

Ernest graduated from Ethel W. Kight High School and was a U.S. Army war veteran. He worked for more than 35 combined years with Milliken & Company (Elm City) and retired from Freudenberg NOK, LaGrange, Georgia.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Daniel; sister, Ruby Denson of LaGrange, Georgia; daughter, Michelle (Rodney) Wiggins of Jacksonville, Florida; sons, Tony (Maria) Wright and Demetrius Wright of Lawrenceville, Georgia; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; aunts and uncles, Olin Daniel, James Daniel, George Daniel, Harvey Daniel, Clifford Daniel, Mary Henry Hall, Addie Cotton, Arrie Daniel, Lela Daniel and Hattie Dowell and a host of cousins and friends.

The service will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at New Macedonia Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home on Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
