With the three seniors leading the way, LaGrange High’s boys’ golf team earned a spot at state by finishing third in the area tournament on Wednesday.

LaGrange had a team score of 320 to finish third in the area, which includes teams from Region 5-AAAA and Region 6-AAAA.

LaGrange was second among the Region 5-AAAA teams behind Cartersville.

Preston Pelham led LaGrange with a 75, John Crawford shot a 76 and Hudson Graham carded a 78.

Juston Edmondson added a 91, TJ Ormsby shot a 92, and Trent Smith had a 105.
