Mrs. JoAnne Williams Moore

The celebration of life service for Mrs. JoAnne Williams Moore of 311 Ragland Street will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Solomon Grove Baptist Church on Fulton Street. Pastor Crawford Strozier will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Moore, a native of Lafayette, Chambers County, Alabama, was born April 8, 1947, and was the daughter of the late Joe Henry and Evelyn Williams. She attended East Depot High School and was retired form West Point Pepperell/Stevens (Dunson Mill) and later worked for Wal-Mart.
She was a faithful member of Solomon Grove Baptist Church where she served as an usher and president of the mother board.
Survivors include her two loving children, Gwendolyn Moore Burton and William Jerome (Felecia) Moore; daughter-in-law, Joyce Harris Moore, all of LaGrange; one brother, Charlie Wheeler Williams, Battle Creek, Michigan; eight grandchildren, Jasmine Moore, Jordan Partridge, Christian Thurman, Rodaisha Holman, Niya Partridge, Jessica Moore, Whitney Moore, and Jameisha Holman; one great granddaughter, Jaylee Moore, all of LaGrange; one brother-in-law, Melvin (Jean) Moore; two sisters-in-law, Evangelist Willie Mae Ferrell, Rosa (Willie Jr.) Swanson, all of LaGrange; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Henry Moore; and her son, Terry Lamar Moore.
