Recruit Georgia has unveiled its top 50 players in the class of 2020, and a pair of local standouts are high on the list.
Callaway’s Cartavious “Tank” Bigsby is third, while Troup’s Kobe Hudson is eighth.
Bigsby is a running back, and he had a big 2017 season while sharing the carries with senior DJ Atkins.
With Atkins now at Western Carolina, Bigbsy is slated to be the featured back for the Cavaliers.
“Tank Bigsby did well in the spring, and the offseason,” Callaway head coach Pete Wiggins said. “He’s gotten bigger. I’ve been really proud of him. I’m looking forward to seeing him tote the ball this season.”
Hudson was an electrifying wide receiver the past two seasons, and he has been working at quarterback during the spring and summer.
Wherever Hudson ends up on the field, he will be an impact player for the Tigers, and he’s ready to get going.
“I’m ready for my junior season,” Hudson said. “This’ll be one for the books. Not just me. I don’t focus on me, it’s the team. We’re chasing that ring.”
Bigsby and Hudson are among the state’s most heavily-recruited players.
While Hudson has already committed to Auburn, Bigsby hasn’t made a decision.
