Three local students will be featured on the cover of The LaGrange Daily News’ Pigskin Preview magazine, the LDN’s annual high school football magazine.

Claire Anne Corban (Lafayette Christian), Kennedy Bowen (Troup High) and Jordan Ogletree (LaGrange High) won the contest, which ended Thursday on The LaGrange Daily News Facebook page. The trio finished with 970 votes, beating the second leading vote getter by nearly 100 votes.

The cover option featuring Sharon Shelton (LaGrange High), Jada Rhodes (Callaway High) and Mitch Crandall (Lafayette Christian) finished second with 898 votes; third with 364 votes was a cover featuring Carly’se Carter (LaGrange High), King Mwikuta (Troup High), Juliette Stone (Callaway High); and fourth with 298 votes was a cover featuring Keiondre Jones (Callaway High) and Dazia Potts (Troup High).

The contest started Thursday, July 19 on the LDN Facebook page and ended Thursday, July 26.

The contest had a total of 2,506 votes. The magazine publishes Aug. 17.
