Mrs. Linda M. Smith, 62, of LaGrange passed away Saturday evening at WellStar West Georgia Medical Center. Linda was born Feb. 21, 1956, in Duluth, Georgia, the daughter of Christine Sheets and Bennie McPherson. She was a former employee of Holmes Pharmacy, Stephens General Store and Roses Department Store. Linda was preceded in death by her husband, John Anthony Smith; a brother, Travis Sheets; and father and mother-in-law, John Jr. and Mildred Grace Smith.

Survivors include, her mother, Christine Sheets of LaGrange; sister, Elaine Tims of LaGrange; sister and brother-in-law, Sonya and Jim Smallwood of Saltillo, Mississippi; brother and sister-in-law, Gilbert and Rosalyn Sheets of LaGrange; brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Sara Jean Sheets of Hogansville, Georgia; brother, Vernon Sheets of LaGrange; many nieces and nephews; many great nieces and nephews; companion, Terry Noles; daughters, Terra Martinez and Jeanette Martinez; sons, Michael Noles and David Noles.

Funeral services for Mrs. Linda M. Smith will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday from the Hunter-Allen-Myhand Chapel with Dr. Tommy Smith and the Reverend’s Lamar Womack and Jonathan Sheets officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memory Gardens.
