Johanna Batcha Stark, 91, of LaGrange, Georgia, died Monday, Dec. 2, 2018, at Hospice LaGrange. Jo was born Dec. 2, 1927, in New York, daughter of the late John Batcha and Anna Batcha. Jo and her family moved to LaGrange in 1961. She joined St. Mark’s Episcopal Church and opened In Clover Restaurant with her husband. Later she became owner and proprietor of Hill Street House. She loved her family, traveling and tending to her beautiful rose gardens. She will ever be our hearts.

In addition to her parents, Jo was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Charles Stark. She was survived by daughter, Candy Buchan, of LaGrange; daughter, Jodi Swauger and her husband Jeff Swauger, of LaGrange; son, Daniel C. Stark and his wife Daiel Stark, of Atlanta; son, John Stark of Atlanta; and grandchildren Daniela Stark and Grayson Stark.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, 2018, at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church with R. Allen Pruitt, rector officiating. The family will host a reception after the service in the Parish Hall.
