In light of the fact Monday, Dec. 24 is Christmas Eve and Tuesday, Dec. 25 is Christmas, multiple closures are occurring in Troup County early next week.

The LaGrange Daily News will not have a newspaper Tuesday, due to the postal services being closed for the holiday. The next edition will be Wednesday, Dec. 26. 

The City of LaGrange will be closed on Monday and Tuesday. Garbage and recycling pick up will be normal on Monday, but residents whose pickup is Tuesday will have their trash picked up Wednesday. Those who have their trash picked up Wednesday will have it delivered Thursday, and Thursday’s scheduled service will be on Friday.

The City of Hogansville will be closed on Monday and Tuesday. Hogansville residents who have garbage picked up on Monday should expect their trash to be taken Wednesday. Those who have their services picked up on Tuesday may have it collected on Wednesday, but should expect Thursday. 

The Troup County Government Center and all Troup County Convenience Centers will be closed on Monday and Tuesday. They will reopen with regular business hours on Wednesday
