Ms. Diana Denise McCord Bailey passed away Wednesday.

She was born Jan. 1, 1964, to the late Willie Roger and Sylvine McCord in Bessemer, Alabama.

She grew up in LaGrange, Georgia and was educated in the LaGrange Public School System, and later became a CNA.

Survivors include one daughter, Taylor McCord; one son, Ryan McCord; four grandchildren; four sisters, Darlene (John) Ivey, Tuscaloosa, Alabama; Cathy McCord, LaGrange, Georgia; Debbie Simpson, Bessemer, Alabama; and Sabrina McCord, LaGrange Georgia; five uncles, six aunts; special sisters, Bertha Cannon, Rose Wilkinson, Erma Tucker, and Betty Jackson; special friends, LeGree McCamey, Dr. W. T. Edmondson and the Rev. C. F. Reed; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The service will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Confidence Baptist Church.

The family will be at their home at 126 Royal Court.
