The staff and students at Clearview Elementary were recently awarded a donation thanks to the West Georgia Ministerial Alliance. The $500 gift was presented by Pastor Rodell Poole, president of the organization, to Debra Brock, principal of Clearview.
“We are delighted to be partners in education with Clearview. We always look for ways to give back to the children,” Poole said. “Our main goal is to help the school progress.”
In addition to the monetary donation, the West Georgia Ministerial Alliance also provides books and school supplies to the students at the school throughout the year.
Brock knows the support goes to a good cause.
“We use the donated funds to supply our Wolf Buck Incentive store for student incentives,” Brock said.
The Wolf Bucks store is where the young learners can trade in their ‘cash’ for items of interest such as sweatshirts, bracelets, books, toys, coupons for ice cream parties, dance parties and teacher assistant for the day.
“We always appreciate the support and donations from the Ministerial Alliance,” Brock said. “It goes a long way in helping us provide incentives for students.”
