Hawks rally past Panthers

Huntingdon is still perfect.
The Hawks improved to 14-0 overall and 6-0 in the USA South with a come-from-behind 5-4 win over the LaGrange College Panthers on Friday.
The Panthers led 4-1 after scoring a pair of runs in the top of the fourth inning, but they were outscored 4-0 the rest of the way.
The Panthers lost despite getting four home runs, all of the solo variety.
Jack Layrisson hit two home runs, and Trey Pearce and E.J. Churchich each had one home run.
JR Robinson pitched the eight-inning complete game for the Panthers, giving up sevenĀ hits and three earned runs.
LaGrange College and Huntingdon will play a doubleheader today beginning at 2 p.m.
