Mrs. Dovie White passed away Friday. She was born June 18, 1937 to the late Robert and Ida Dudley Brown in Troup County, Georgia. She was a graduate of East Depot High School, retired from Duracell, and was a faithful member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her sister, Cynthia (Larry) Jackson, LaGrange, GA; four brothers:  Robert (Shirley) Brown, East Point, GA; Andrew (Grace) Brown, Terry (Shirley) Brown, and Alvin (Denise) Brown, all of LaGrange, GA; five children she reared as her own:  Lacy Brown, Montravious Anderson, Amairon Khalia Atkinson, Towardo (Walter) Willis, LaShantice Anderson; one stepdaughter, Carol McFarland; god-child, Ruben Lee Haynes, Jr.; best friends, Eula Darden and Debra Tucker, both of LaGrange, GA; caregiver, Rosa Dudley; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.

The Service will be Thursday at 12:00 at First Baptist Church. The family will be at their home at 108 Hill Street.
