The Callaway Cavaliers celebrated senior night with a 10-8 win over Glenwood on Wednesday.

Everyone of Callaway’s seniors started the game, with some of the players playing a different defensive position to make that a reality.

Glenwood scored five runs in the top of the seventh to make things interesting, but Callaway held on for the win.

One of the seniors, Walt Stewart, was the starting pitcher, and he threw the first four innings.

After giving up three unearned runs in the first inning, Stewart didn’t allow a run over the next three innings.

Jabari Smith pitched the next 2 1/3 innings, and Tucker Starling retired the final two batters in the seventh inning to get the save.

Destin Patrick had a double and three RBIs, Braelin Mitchell had a hit and two RBIs, and Drake Wade and Bryce Kurian each had a hit and an RBI.

Luke Swann and Trent Sheppard each had a hit.

Callaway closes the regular season with Friday’s game at Troup.
