Great Wolf Lodge LaGrange will be one of two Great Wolf Lodge locations across the country hosting an upcoming Gen Z summit from May 17-19. The summit, which was created and is put on by ConnectHER Media, will be an opportunity for Generation Z social media influencers to gather and discuss content strategies, as well as allow influencers to connect with brands and organizations from across the nation. 

“This is basically a social media conference geared toward creating positive content and helping kids be role models and learn from kids who are in the YouTube space or Instagrammers or celebrity kids in entertainments,” said ConnectHER Media President Laura Filipowicz. “We want to help kids not just use their platforms to do dumb things that get them views, but more things that are coming from a more positive perspective and help kids create a positive digital footprint for themselves.” 

The Southern California-based media company hosted the inaugural Gen Z Summit last year at the Great Wolf Lodge location in Garden Grove, California and had such a response that the decision was made to expand the event. The location in LaGrange was chosen as the ideal location, due to its proximity to Atlanta and other metropolitan areas. 

“We basically had all of the East Coast locations available for us to use,” Filipowicz said. “That property (LaGrange) is in a good location. Atlanta is almost better than Hollywood now in terms of producing movies these days. It’s also a newer property. We always like to have events in newer properties, everything is new and fresh. It’s also centrally located. We have people coming in from New York, Virginia and places like Florida. It just made sense.”

Those that will be in attendance for the conference include Annie Rose and Lilly Kate, who have more than 1 million combined YouTube subscribers, as well as actors and Instagram influencers.
