Abbie Shepherd, Jr. passed away Sunday. He was born April 23, 1934 to the late Abbie Shepherd, Sr. and Mary Emma Jenkins Shepherd in Chipley, Georgia.  He was a faithful member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, and previosley employed by Hillside.

Survivors include two daughters,  Vicki McGruder, and Rose Marie Sherman; one son, Kenneth McGruder; four sisters,  Elizabeth Hill, Dorothy Williams, Vernetta Shepherd, and Lucille Robinson; two brothers, Earl (Mary) Shepherd, and Leonard Shepherd; several grandchildren; two sisters-in-law,  Janet Shepherd and Vivian Shepherd; one brother-in-law, Joseph Ellison; and a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.

The Service will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul U M Church. 

The excellent care of Mr. Shepherd is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
