The Lafayette Christian School Cougars improved to 2-1 with a 65-30 road win over Sherwood Christian on Friday night.

Cason Firth had a monster night for the Cougars with 321 rushing yards and three touchdowns.

Ben Dixon added 91 rushing yards and two touchdowns, and quarterback Nathan Fain had 52 yards on the ground with a touchdown.

Jacob Karvelas, who also played quarterback, had a touchdown.

Lafayette Christian hosts Fullington Academy next Friday for its first home game.

Lafayette Christian has won two in a row after opening its season with a loss.
