The LaGrange Grangers were unable to keep pace with the powerful Sandy Creek Patriots on the way to a 52-0 loss on Friday night.

It was a 28-0 game at the half, and Sandy Creek continued to pull away in the second half.

LaGrange (2-6 overall) fell to 0-5 in Region 5-AAAA, and it will complete its region schedule with a game at Chapel Hill next Friday.

LaGrange closes its season against Shaw on Nov. 8.
