Deacon Otis Hightower passed away Tuesday. He was born December 19, 1935 to the late Robert and Mamie Hightower, Sr. in Pine Mountain (Chipley), Georgia.

Otis was employed at West Point Pepperell Dixie Mill in LaGrange, Georgia over twenty-five years; and served faithfully at Bethany Baptist Church.

He is survived by his children Debbie (Garrett) Johnson, Adolphus Hightower, Gregory (Kathleen) Hightower, Jeffrey Hightower; nine grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; his brother Robert (Christine) Hightower, Jr.; his uncle Rev. James E. Hightower, Sr.; four sisters-in-law; five brothers-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

The Service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Bethany Baptist Church. The family will be at their home at 419 Gardenview Drive, Apartment C, Pine Mountain.
