The Festive Five kick off event, hosted at the LaGrange Mall will start on Nov. 18, according to a press release from the mall. 

Live entertainment will be provided as well as the chance to vote for a favorite performance. The five night event will take place from Nov. 18 through Nov. 22 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Center Court at the LaGrange Mall. 

According to the press release, live performances will be by local choirs, musicians, dance groups and more.

The Festive Five is an event to kick off the holiday season, according to the press release.

 Individuals and groups are invited to share the holiday cheer by performing live in the mall. Throughout the week, friends, family and shoppers can visit thefestivefive.com to vote for their favorite holiday performance. 

Voting will go live on Monday, Nov. 18 and closes at midnight on Sunday, Nov. 24. The act with the most votes will win the title of LaGrange’s Festive Favorite, according to the press release. 

The winner will receive the 2019 Festive Favorite award and revealed in a special announcement from the mall.

The performance schedule will go as follows:

• Lafayette Christian School Choir will perform at 7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 18
• Long Cane Cougar Chorus will perform at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 19
• The Active Life Line Dancers will perform at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 19
• The Active Life Ballroom Dancers will perform at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 21
• West Point Elementary Character Chorus will perform at 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 22
• Lafayette Ballet Company will perform at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 22
• Dancers Unleashed will perform at 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 22
