The LaGrange boys’ basketball team improved to 8-0 with a 72-30 road win over Pike County on Thursday.

The Grangers started quickly, easing to a 20-4 lead after the first quarter, and they  never looked back.

It was also a winning night for the LaGrange girls’ team, which beat Pike County 56-23.

It was tie 10-10 after the furst quarter, but LaGrange dominated the rest of the game.

LaGrange’s teams will be on the road against Callaway on Monday.
